How We Started

Car polishing service

Established in 2014, BlackNano was founded by Kenneth Koh initially starting off as a professional mobile detailing service, offering car washes, paint correction and nano coatings on the go. Through hard work, passion for cars and a keen eye for detail, his customer base continued to grow successfully through word of mouth and it was only natural for him to continue delivering exceptional detailing, quality paint correction and durable protection from a place of business.

With dedication and long-term vision to continue his business, he opened his detailing studio in Western Singapore, where it still stands till today. In 2017, BlackNano was the 1st in Singapore to be officially certified by GYEON, global leaders in ceramic coatings & detailing products, as a certified detailer. A feat not achievable by many.

Today, Kenneth continues not only to develop his company but still manages and be involved in the business day to day activities, often unable to resist getting actively involved in the operational side and mingling with customers and car enthusiasts alike. Over the years, he has built long-standing, trust base relationships with his customers that still return, either for private car washes, maintenance, re-coatings or when they have acquired a new vehicle.

From time to time, you can still see him toiling away on a customer’s car, giving training or introductory courses or on a business call in his office. His BlackNano team of experienced detailers and dependable office staff are his backbone of the company that continues to deliver impressive detailing and convey his vision.
